Kale is related to cruciferous vegetables like cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, collard greens and the brussel sprout.  This renowned super food contains all of the nine essential amino acids, it is very high in nutrients, low in calories, and as an added bonus it is also one of the most alkaline of foods.
